The shooter, identified as 27-year-old Shane Devon Tamura from Las Vegas, died by self-inflicted wounds after the attack. Police said Tamura entered the 345 Park Avenue building around 6:40pm, armed with an AR-style rifle. After firing in the lobby, he moved to the upper floors, where more gunfire ensued.

Three other people, including two women, were also killed. Authorities are still investigating the motive behind the attack.
