Bangladesh ISKCON leader Chinmoy Krishna Das granted bail by High Court

ISKCON leader Chinmoy Krishna Das, who was arrested in October last year in a sedition case, has been granted bail by Bangladesh High Court. Das was arrested following a sedition case was filed against him and his supporters in Chittagong.

The controversy regarding Chinmoy Das was erupted after a saffron flag was hoisted above the Bangladeshi national flag during a rally in Laldighi Maidan in Chattogram in October 2024.

On Tuesday, the ISKCON leader appeared before a local court where his bail plea was rejected causing massive outrage in among the Hindu community.
