Johannesburg: The BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Hindu Mandir and Cultural Complex in Northriding, Johannesburg, officially opened its doors today following a sacred Pran Pratishtha ceremony, led by His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj, the global spiritual leader of BAPS. This sacred ritual marks the spiritual inauguration of the Mandir, as deities are ceremonially infused with divine presence, transforming the temple into a sanctified place of worship, transforming statue into murti.
