New Delhi: A nuclear deal with Iran is closer, US President Donald Trump said during his Middle East tour, said a report in Times of Israel. Trump’s announcement has diminished talks of a military strike against Tehran as demanded by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

“I think we are getting close to maybe doing a deal without having to do this, US President Donald Trump said during his second leg of visit to Qatar after visiting Saudi Arabia.

He further said that US is in a very serious negotiations with Iran on its nuclear deal and it’s sort of agreed to the terms. Earlier, Iran has also reportedly admitted that it was ready to cap its Uranium enrichment programme.
