Washington: Elon Musk, currently the world’s richest individual and formerly an ally of US President Donald Trump, has addressed the ongoing allegations of drug use against him. On June 17, Musk posted a drug test report on X, which showed negative results for various substances, including ketamine, cocaine, amphetamines, and ecstasy.
Known for his vocal interest in cryptocurrencies over the years, Musk has built a large following within the crypto space. Following his post, Crypto Twitter quickly lit up with reactions—ranging from curious to humorous.
One of the first to respond was @Jeremyybtc, an advisor at crypto exchange OKX, who replied with a curious eye emoji.

He then asked Grok, Musk’s AI chatbot, to interpret the post. The chatbot clarified that Musk’s drug test came back negative but added a caution: it’s “a snapshot, not current proof.”
In response to the post, well-known crypto YouTuber @TheDustyBC reacted with enthusiasm:
“That’s the fastest?!?!?!?”
Meanwhile, @TheMisterFrog, another popular account in the crypto community, didn’t hold back:
“pump (sic) those numbers up haha.”
@DogecoinNorway, a prominent Musk follower who describes themselves as a fan of Dogecoin, crypto, and Tesla (Nasdaq: TSLA), shared a meme referencing the famous Joe Rogan podcast moment from 2018—where Musk appeared to be smoking marijuana during the show.
