Tehran: Two Iranian Supreme Court judges were killed and another was injured in a shooting attack outside Justice Department in Tehran on Saturday morning. According to Fars news agency, the attack took place at around 10.45 am local time when an assailant opened fire on the judges.
The two judges killed in the attack have been identified as Ali Razini and Mohammad Moghiseh.
The assailant, whose identity has not been revealed, took his own life after carrying out the shooting spree. One more judge was injured during the attack and authorities are investigating the incident.
According to initial investigations, the person in question neither had a case before the Supreme Court nor was he a client of the court’s branches.
