Paris: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday arrived in France on a three-day visit. The Prime Minister is scheduled to attend the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Summit and inaugurate an Indian consulate in next two days.

Among other world leaders he also met US Vice President JD Vance German Chancellor Olaf Sholz among other world leaders. “Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with French President Emmanuel Macron and US Vice President JD Vance,” the Prime Minister’s Office said in a message on X.

PM Modi to co-chair AI Summit with Macron

On Tuesday, the Prime Minister will co-chair the AI Action Summit, along with President Macron. Apart from them other world leaders including Vance will also be present. Apart from this he will also have a bilateral meeting with Macron. A number of important announcements are likely to be announced during Modi’s visit, which is his sixth after becoming the Prime Minister in 2014.

Notably, during PM Modi’s visit, India and France may also announce an agreement on 26 Rafale-M aircraft for the Indian Navy as well as three Scorpene class submarines, which is in the final stage. Of negotiations. Apart from a major announcement on a civil nuclear deal, both countries will launch India-France Triangular Development Cooperation initiative. A logo will also be launched during the event.

On Wednesday, PM Modi and Macron will head to Marseille city to inaugurate an Indian consulate. The city is an important telecommunications connection hub., which will also help in to strengthening people-to-people contact and strengthen economic ties further.
