Operation Sindoor

Indian Army launched Operation Sindoor, targeting and destroying nine terror hideouts in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). These camps were believed to be the base for planning attacks on India. The Indian Army has claimed that around 100 Pakistani terrorists were killed in the operation, weakening several terror networks.

The precision strike was carried out in response to the Pahalgam terror attack, where 26 civilians were killed. Indian officials stated that the operation was aimed at eliminating terror infrastructure while avoiding civilian harm.

Pressure mounts on Pakistan

Pakistan is facing growing pressure both externally and internally. While dealing with Indian Army’s strike along the LoC, Pakistan is also facing attacks from Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) within its own borders. On Wednesday, the BLA targeted a Pakistan Army vehicle in Balochistan, reportedly killing several soldiers.
