New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi likely to visit US next month, said President Donald Trump on Tuesday. The announcement comes a day after both the leaders has a conversation over phone on Monday.

While speaking to journalists aboard Air Force One on his way back to Joint Base Andrews from Florida, Trump also said US shares a very good relationship with India.

“I had a long talk with him this morning (Monday). He is going to be coming to the White House, over next month, probably February. We have a very good relationship with India,” Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One.

Trump, who last visited India in February 2020, enjoys very friendly relationship with PM Modi. Both the leaders had addressed thousands of people at two different rallies in Houston in September 2019 and in Ahmedabad in February 2020.

“Everything came up (in a phone call with Modi),” added Trump when asked about the issues discussed during the phone call with PM Modi.

PM Modi was among the first few world leaders to wish Trump on his stunning vicotry in US Presidential elections in November last year.
