New Delhi: A shooting incident took place at the house of Punjabi singer Prem Dhillon in Canada on Monday with a gangster linked to wanted Khalistani terrorist Arshdeep Singh aka Arsh Dala claiming responsibility for the firing and threatening Dhillon with dreaded consequences if he doesn’t heed to their warnings.
Sources said Indian security agencies have confirmed the shooting was reportedly carried out by the Jaypal Bhullar gang with the responsibility being claimed by Jenta Kharrad, a known associate of the Arsh Dala. Kharrad is currently in hiding in Australia.
The post going viral on social media purportedly claims responsibility for the attack. The post also makes mention of the Punjab music industry’s dominance, including references to slain singer Sidhu Moose Wala and gangster Jaggu Bhagwanpuria.
The post, written in Punjabi, says — “The one who fired at Prem Dhillon’s house today, I tried several times to stop this, but it didn’t happen. First, they came forward with Sidhu, signed with him, then threatened Sidhu with Jaggu Bhagwanpuria, broke their contract, and then pointed fingers at Sidhu’s loss. They mocked Sidhu’s death and made a song for his sympathy”.
The post claims Dhillon betrayed Sidhu after his death and also gave a song to the gangster’s KV Dillon, calling it “Cheat MP3”.
“This is just your final warning. If you don’t mend your ways now, no one can save you, whether you go to Canada or anywhere else. Go with our aunt, I will show you by killing you,” Kharrad wrote in the post.
