New Delhi: Amid multiple media reports claiming the detention of Pakistan’s popular YouTubers Sohaib Chaudhry and Sana Amjad by the Army and the ISI, both of them reappeared and shared their first videos after a gap of almost 21 days.
In their respective videos, both the popular content creators claimed abduction and harassment by a political party and govt agencies during last 21 days.
While narrating her 21-day ordeal, Amjad said her family and relatives had to face torture and harassment by the ‘people’ who use to come and camp at her home. She also urged her followers to pray for her mother who is unwell.
“I will continue to point out wrong things, while supporting what is right. If some people want to silence me and shut down my channel, it’s is my challenge to them, they will never succeed. Such people (who want to silence her) should come forward and talk face-to-face like a man, but don’t harm my families… please don’t torture them,” said Amjad.

Amjad slammed her fellow YouTubers for spreading fake news and misleading reports about her whereabouts.
“People who propagated wrong news about my death and fake encounter. Lakhs of my followers were told stories about my funeral in Lahore, such people should be ashamed of themselves. Now I am free of fear as my near and dear ones were harmed and tortured in last 21 days,” added Amjad.
Sana expressed her gratitude towards Indian YouTuber and TV channels for their support and carrying out stories questioning her wellbeing, at the same she also slammed the Pakistan-based content creators for indulging in rumour-mongering about her during last 21 days.
Chaudhry, who was also absent from social media for almost last three weeks, said he will refrain from speaking against people who are wrong and want to harm Pakistan. In his 21-minute-long video, Chaudhry vowed to continue exposing enemies of Pakistan.
“I was tortured by the authorities. I was abducted by a prominent political party and they wanted me to join them. They are scared of my growing popularity among youths. They tried to put pressure my… I was told that there are three FIRs lodged against me. It is very easy to suppress anyone… When people like Imran Khan, Nawaz Sharif, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto who have been the PMs, were not safe, then who am I?,” said Chaudhry.
Sohaib Chaudhry praises Indian economy
Chaudhry, with over 1.66 million subscribers on YouTube, said it was very easy to frame anyone in Pakistan on issues like blasphemy, or declare such person an agent of jews or India and sent him in jail.
“I they are scared of me just because I praise India in my videos, then I would like say it again, that India is better in economy, it has gone much ahead of us in economic growth, India’s GDP is much better than Pakistan. Please tell me if I am saying anything wrong,”
He also slammed his fellow YouTubers and social media influencers who were involved in spreading wrong and misleading updates about his well being and whereabouts. “Some of them were either involved is spreading fake news against me, or went underground instead of coming out in my support,” added Chaudhry.

Social media was abuzz with reports claiming that some Pakistani YouTubers who made pro-India content and praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi were hanged by the Pakistan Army. The hanging rumours gained momentum after about 12 YouTubers, including Sana Amjad and Shoaib Chaudhary, went silent on social media for almost three weeks.
